Maurice baltissen imagine animals in creative social situations.

Social media are all the rave now. And for so many- teens and celebrities alike- the day isn’t complete without a photo of the face with any intriguing backdrop.  “selfies”  as they are fondly called, are the big “thing” of our present social experience. They celebrate our love for things and help us appreciate us.

Maurice, a netherland based 2d illustrator takes at spin on this whole culture. Using his new project; Farm selfies. He intend to ask if animals , given the chance would engage in this  move or “snappybration” .

He illustrated several farm animals in the process of taking selfies for this new work and it is hilarious. Graduated a graphic designer with focus on making  3d designs. He has so far done lots of other works.  Hi first work  ´Birthdaysuit´ centered on discovery  of the world. This allowed him a chance to travel through Europe, The Middle East and Central Asia.
” The reason I started my study in graphic design is that I love to create something that moves and influences people viewing it.” maurice had said on his website.

For some of his inpiring work do checkout his website. Below are samples of Farm selfies”  enjoy.

Things people who love food too well will understand.

Food. One of great pleasures of life. Cakes and cupcakes, pizzas and hamburgers, soups and stews, croissants and creme brulee (my personal favourite), and many many more sweet and savoury dishes make our life so much more satisfying and wonderful! Lingvistov has been drawing funny comics and illustrations with food jokes for a long time and have chosen their favourite ones for this post to make all of your foodies there smile!

If you love food (and who doesn’t, really?), you’ll love these Lingvistov illustrations. There’s humour in everything and food is no exception!

Talk of a cool Dad : Recreates horror scenes with Daughters

We all had nightmares as kids either about monster under t. But what of you had the bed or creepy things happening to our parents. But this parent takes it one to further , Joshua Hoffie from Kansas plays dress up with his daughters to prove monsters aren’t real.

Based in Kansas City, Missouri, Hoffine has spent the past decade turning nightmares into reality. Using cameras, props, and a twisted sense of imagination, and the assistance of his two daughters and wife, the photographer also uses his daughters as models in his macabre and menacing masterpieces.

His most well-known series, called ‘After Dark My Sweet’, focuses on the sorts of nightmares we’ve all had as children with some of his works below and if you’d like to own your own collection of his surreal images visit his website.

Debunking Movie facts: Myth VS Reality

Movies are awesome way to learn about the world, but sometimes facts are sacrificed in place of reality to spice the actions and allow for great entertainment.

Sadly most of those exaguarted actions are now becoming main stream so Lenya Brick from Brightside has made a series of illustrations that shed light on cliches that we’ve become so used to,and tries to debunk most of the supposed movies facts and norms. From badass killing of a bunch of bad guys with no weapon to shooting with multiple guns to restarting hearts at the last second, these cliches don’t hold much weight in the real world.

Below are some of those cliches and a comic attempt at setting them straight .

Amazing 3D street art bring Portugal to live: Bordalo

Street arts are  quite common here in Melbourne ; colorful and  adding an exciting twist to the alley ways they are appreciated in quantity . But 3D street  arts are not that common. Portugal seem to be getting all the attention in the 3D street art scene all thanks to Bordalo Segundo born in Lisbon, 1987.

This street artist is the sole reason the streets of Lisbon are alive with almost live like designs. Citing him:

“I belong to a generation that is extremely consumerist, materialist and greedy. With the production of things at its highest, the production of “waste” and unused objects is also at its highest. “Waste” is quoted because of its abstract definition: “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure”.

He create, recreate, assemble and develop ideas with end-of-life material and try to relate it to sustainability, ecological and social awareness. And has exhibited his works out Portugal with
